| The Susan Lopez School of Ballet
offers a curriculum for all levels and ages of the dance student. The
emphasis here is placed on developing correct technique starting from a
young age and continuing to adulthood. Our curriculum has been carefully
designed to be age appropriate and to teach the foundation of ballet -
correct body alignment, coordination, poise, and grace.
Our teachers offer a loving environment, creating a joyous atmosphere, and a love of movement. We focus on excellent training; having students progress through the highest levels of ballet, & modern while encouraging a positive self image and attitude. |

Susan Lopez ~Susan received both
a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Dance from Mills College.
Ms. Lopez has performed extensively and trained with noted ballet and modern teachers in New York, San Francisco, and the greater Bay Area. She has also choreographed dance productions for all levels. Ms. Lopez has also coached dance to Gold level ice skaters who have gone on to win major competitions in the United States & Europe. |

Marilyn Jakowchik ~Her love for ballet
began at the age of four in Southern California. She received her Bachelors Degree from UCLA and also attended dental school. Her love of children has made her into a wonderful pre-primary/primary teacher. She instills a love for ballet in each child and encourages them to follow their dreams. Children love her enthusiasm and kindness. |
